Our Beliefs
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His conception by the Holy Spirit, in His birth by the Virgin Mary, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutive and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that man was created in the image of God by God and not from previously existing forms of life; that man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ willingly died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood.
We believe that all who trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God; from that time forward they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who makes possible a life of personal holiness and a walk of obedience to the will of God; that all who are truly born again are held onto by the power of God and their salvation is secure.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the unsaved: that the saved are saved unto the eternal resurrection of life and that the unsaved unto eternal conscious punishment.
We believe that the local Church is a body of believers organized for worship, work, and fellowship; that the local Church is an independent and self-governing organization responsible alone to Christ, who is its Savior and Lord.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class difference.
